Pós-doutoranda em Artes Visuais pela Universidade de Brasília (2026-), doutora e mestra em Linguagens Visuais pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (BR 2020/2010), e bacharel em Artes Visuais pela Florida International University (EUA, 2002), com ênfase em Fotografia e Time-based media e especialização em História da Arte. Investigadora Júnior pela 7ª Edição do CEEC/FCT junto ao CeiED/Universidade Lusófona. Desde 2000, trabalha com exercícios de observação multissensoriais, sejam em residências temporárias ou em trânsito, sobre questões intrínsecas à moradia e às relações humanas que são estabelecidas entre lugares e histórias, resultando em fotografias, textos, instalações de áudio e vídeo, sendo alguns projetos colaborativos. Sua obra faz parte de importantes coleções públicas e privadas, tendo sido exposta, premiada e publicada.

Além do trabalho como artista, colabora com instituições de arte e espaços independentes como orientadora, produtora e curadora, incluindo a Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage e o NowHere Lisboa, onde oferece cursos e acompanhamento de projetos a outros artistas.

Desenvolveu o projeto “Monumentalidade como Coletividade” para a publicação "O MASP de Lina: 50 anos do edifício na Avenida Paulista" (BR, 2018) e participou do Clube de Colecionadores de Fotografia do MAM-SP (BR, 2016).

Publicou os livros "Como olhar junto" (com o Programa de Apoio a Projetos 2024 – Artes Visuais / DGArtes) e "Exercícios de Observação" em 2025, "Derivadores" (com Jonas Arrabal) em 2016 e "São Casas" em 2012.

Atualmente vive entre Portugal e Brasil.

Postdoctoral researcher in Visual Arts at the University of Brasília (2026–), Ph.D. and M.A. in Visual Languages from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil, 2020/2010), and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Florida International University (USA, 2002), with an emphasis on Photography and Time-based Media and a specialization in Art History. Junior Researcher for the 7th Edition of CEEC/FCT at CeiED/Lusófona University. Since 2000, she has been working with multisensory observation exercises, whether in temporary residencies or while in transit, exploring issues intrinsic to housing and the human relationships established between places and histories, resulting in photographs, texts, audio and video installations, some of which are collaborative projects. Her work is part of important public and private collections and has been exhibited, awarded, and published.

In addition to her work as an artist, she collaborates with art institutions and independent spaces as a mentor, producer, and curator, including the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts and NowHere Lisboa, where she offers courses and project mentoring to other artists.
